Privacy Policy for Tessera

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the mobile application Tessera ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Tessera is a collection of offline word and puzzle games. We designed it to collect as little information as possible.

1. Information we collect

Information stored only on your device

The App stores the following locally on your device and does not transmit it to us (we operate no accounts and no servers for this data):

• Your chosen nickname and avatar.
• Your high scores, games played, and streak statistics for each game.
• Your settings (theme, sound, haptics, colorblind tiles, and your daily reminder preference + chosen time).
• In-progress game state so a game can resume.

This data stays on your device. You can erase it at any time using Settings → Reset data, or by deleting the App.

If you enable the daily reminder, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device — no data is sent to us or any server to deliver them.

Information collected by our advertising partner

The App displays ads through Google AdMob (a Google service). To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, which may include:

• Device identifiers (including the advertising identifier, e.g. Apple's IDFA, subject to your tracking choice — see Section 4).
• IP address and approximate location derived from it.
• Device and app information (device type, OS version, app version).
• Ad interaction and performance data.
